Anthony Chedid

Managing Partner

Anthony Chedid is the Managing Partner of Validus Capital and Chairman of the Board of Directors.  Mr. Chedid began his real estate investment career in 2001 in New York City acquiring parking garages and single-family apartments before expanding to acquiring, entitling, constructing, financing, and operating multi-family apartment buildings and parking lots in 2018.  Mr. Chedid is based out of Manhattan.

Mr. Chedid endowed the Chedid Family Scholarship at the College of the University of Chicago and served on the Advisory Council at the College of the University of Chicago.  Mr. Chedid currently serves on the Advisory Council at the Institute for the Study of Ancient Cultures at the University of Chicago and on the Board of Trustees at the Convent of the Sacred Heart in Manhattan.

Before starting Validus, Mr. Chedid was a Portfolio Manager in Technology Equities at Point72 Asset Management in New York and Connecticut, joining SAC Capital in 2001 as a Research Analyst.  Mr. Chedid also worked at Morgan Stanley in its equity research department.  Mr. Chedid graduated from the College at the University of Chicago.

Ryan Fleck

Acquisitions Associate

Ryan Fleck is an Acquisitions Associate at Validus, focusing on acquisitions, construction, and financing in the New York and Chicago portfolios. Mr. Fleck is a member of the Investment Committee. Based in Chicago, Mr. Fleck brings experience from internships at Validus Capital and the National Equity Fund.

Mr. Fleck is a graduate of the University of Chicago with a degree in Economics.  Mr. Fleck was a four-year varsity wrestler, an NCAA All-American, and currently serves as a Board Member of the Young Professionals Beat The Streets Chicago.

Will McKelvain

Asset Management Associate

Will McKelvain is an Asset Management Associate at Validus, focusing on asset management, property management, and all operations in the New York and Chicago portfolios. Mr. McKelvain is a member of the Investment Committee. Mr. McKelvain is based in Chicago.

Mr. McKelvain is a graduate of the University of Chicago with dual degrees in Economics and History.
